FAQ · Costs & Budget
Are free fabric samples worth ordering before I buy?
Yes — samples are one of the few no-cost ways to de-risk a non-returnable purchase, and most sellers send them free. Color and opacity read completely differently on a screen than on your wall in your light, so a swatch held up at the actual window, at different times of day, tells you what a product page can’t — especially for whites, greiges, and "blackout versus room-darkening" fabrics whose real light control you can only judge in hand. Use samples to compare candidates across sellers too. What samples don’t settle is fit and price, so pair the swatch test with pricing your real window size in each configurator. Given that custom blinds are generally not returnable, twenty minutes with samples is cheap insurance.
