FAQ · Measuring & Install
What’s included with a custom blind order — brackets, valance, install?
Typically the covering, its mounting brackets, and basic fasteners come in the box, along with a valance or cassette where that’s part of the product — but the specifics vary by seller, so read the product page rather than assuming. Optional extras you may add at order time include hold-down brackets (for doors and in-swing windows), extension brackets to clear an obstruction, extra intermediate brackets on wide blinds, and upgraded lifts or motorization. Professional installation is almost never bundled with an online custom order; you’re mounting it yourself or hiring separately, and most DIYers manage with a drill, level, and tape. Confirm the included bracket count and hardware against the seller’s listing, and check whether wall anchors are provided for drywall mounting or you’ll need your own.
