Remake Policy / Fit Guarantee
A remake policy (sometimes a “fit” or “sure-fit” guarantee) is the seller’s stated remedy when a custom blind arrives wrong, and it’s the most important fine print in the category because custom orders are generally not returnable. The honest questions it answers: does the seller remake for a genuine manufacturing error only, or also for a customer mismeasure? Is there a time window, a size limit, a per-household cap, and who pays return shipping? Policies range from generous one-time mismeasure remakes to error-only coverage. We audit and date each seller’s policy in reviews, because a strong remake policy is worth real money on a purchase you can’t send back.
