Extension & Spacer Brackets

Extension brackets (and spacer blocks) push a blind away from the wall so it clears something in the way — a protruding handle, an alarm sensor, deep trim, or another covering layered behind it. They convert an impossible mount into a workable one, which is why they show up on layered installs (blinds in front of a fixed sheer) and on windows with hardware in the swing path. Sellers list them as an option with a stated projection distance. The trade is a slightly larger light gap and a blind that stands off the wall more. Measure the obstruction first, then pick a projection that just clears it.
