Roll Direction (Standard vs Reverse)

Roll direction is whether the fabric comes off the front of the roller tube (reverse roll) or the back (standard roll). Standard roll sits the fabric closer to the glass — better for a snug light gap and for clearing window cranks. Reverse roll drops the fabric off the front of the tube, which can look cleaner on an outside mount or when the fabric needs to clear a deep sill or handle, at the cost of a slightly larger gap to the glass. It’s an order-time option, easy to overlook and mildly annoying to get wrong, so it’s worth a moment against your window’s hardware and mount type.
